Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

My brother wants a summer car and was looking around for GTO's. Is anybody on here looking to sell theirs possibly. I would like to get it with a 6.0 but it is not absolutley necessary I find a 5.7 at a good price. Also he wants an automatic. But again if it is the right price I will tell him to learn to drive a stick.

Regardless he should get a manual and you should teach him! The automatic cars are only 4 speeds and much slower than 6 speed manual cars. In addition there is a significant difference in fuel economy between the two....the 6 speed gets much better, so much better in fact that the option for the automatic when new gave you the "gas guzzler tax" and the manual did not.
I was looking to buy a GTO and opted to fork over more cash for a Camaro. especially after hearing some of the issues with the car from internal GM sources. There are many reported cases with these vehicles having horrible water leak issues....most prevalent in the 2004 model. If anything you want an 05-06 not just for the 6.0 and hood scoops but because GM had some time to fix major flaws. the newer ones are well worth the extra money.
goodluck in your search!

lol Keith toolin around in a gto. younger brother takin down the ws6 anytime soon?
Not unless my dad buys him a blower and builds the motor. They are already giving me shit about it but it isnt going to happen they just know they can push my buttons lol.
BTW Joel his price range is about 10k-14k depending on what he finds. I kno its low but he asked me to look I am sure somebody has one for a low price somewhere.
As for the auto vs. manual situation. I keep telling him since it is just his toy car to get a manual but I just dont know if he will do it. He might ***** about it at 1st but I think he will be happy later if he learns how to drive a stick.
04 with decent miles can be had for 10K. Its gonna be a little harder to find an 05+ for the price. If you keep your eyes peeled in sure you will be able to score one tho.
I WANT NOISE! SPEED! AN ENGINE THAT SHAKES MY INTERNAL ORGANS LIKE THEY GOT PARKINSON'S! I DONT WANT AN ENGINE THAT IS PARTIALLY POWERED BY MY LAPTOP BATTERY!

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
I looked for a long time before getting my latest f body. You can find a few 04s for under 10k...generally autos and fairly high miles, around 100k. You probably wont find an 05/06 for under 10k...i did find a few with high miles for 12-13k, and they sold quick.
