A VERY close friend of mine is in the parts biz, he is out of Paw Paw and has been doing this for 15 years, he has TONS of parts and I mean TONS!! I would say its the largest nicest inventory I have found in this side of the country

I am trying to help out with getting more info out to the guys who like and love these cars.I will not spam his phone number out here but will give it out to a PM if you want it.

    here they are

93 Z28 with the rebuilt motor/ported heads, headers, cold air intake needs fuel pump 120K miles $1850.00

89 Trans Am silver TPI ttop 5 speed car real nice GTA wheels, super solid, gray int real nice GTA wheels has rod knock $1900.00

86 Trans Am silver 305 TPI real nice GTA wheels very solid/straight body needs fuel pump and interior work $1500.00

87 Iroc Z 350 TPI automatic trans. 4 wheel disc brakes. Black with red cloth. T-yops. Body and undercarriage 100% solid. Medium size dent in passenger fender. Interior needs cleaning but not ripped. Has power seat and Delco-Bose stereo system however radio is missing. Nice 16" Iroc wheels. Car runs, but very rough and isnt driveable. Im thinking fuel pump. Hood has a fold in the front but Im including a nice one with the car. 88K original miles. As you can see in the pics someone hot-wired the electric fans and did a sloppy job. $1600.00.

91 GTA 350 TPI automatic trans, t-tops, posi disc brake rearend with PBR aluminum caliper brakes. Body is super solid. One minor soft spot in drivers floor. Original spoiler still nice. Dark green exterior. Gray leather interior will need cleaned but seats arent all ripped. Drivers seat has wear, leather steering wheel has a rip at top. Car has 88-92K miles, I cant recall exactly. Nice GTA wheels. Car was backed into wityh a trailer hitch and the nose and hood got dented. I am including a nice spare hood with the car. Car isnt running, I am told it blew a haed gasket. Previous owner said he raced a Mustang and it started smoking so he parked it. It has been sitting about a year and a half now. It is a very solid car. $1850.00.

I am a little confused. You both said that Iroc would be a good project in certain words. But when I look at it the car seems a little rough for the money. Yes I know it claims to have 88k original miles but to me it looks really rough body wise. Now I an looking for a project but I didnt think this was it. And now im confused because you both seem to think its worth it?

EDIT: for the record I thought the GTA was a better buy...

I like the IROC over the GTA myself, but that's just personal opinion. It's your money...do what YOU think is right. Both cars appear to be complete, so either $1600 or $1800 is a fair price for that...however, I'd offer less.

You have to satisfy yourself first, but investment-wise I think the IROC would be the car to go with. Make an offer and see where it goes...

GTA looks to be in better shape, require less money to bring back to life. With that IROC, I wouldn't want to do a bare minimum job to bring it to an 'acceptable' status, rather id put some serious coin into it to a complete restoration (not a project to take on to try and flip).

In other words, GTA for something to drive now and rag on, and IROC if you want something to keep and see go up in value as you enjoy it.

Agreed...like $400 less and haggle to $300 less...

87 IROCs are pleantiful...they made 38,889 of them in '87.

In contrast, they only made 2915 GTAs in 91...the tail-lights on those things are 91-92 GTA specific and are reeee-diculously hard to find in nice shape...arguably one of the hardest to find 3rd gen parts there is...there's a good set on eBay right now that they're asking $500 for...

                  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1991-...Q5fAccessories

Very unusual that they're both 350 T-top cars...there were several windows in the late-80s/early-90s where that combo couldn't be ordered together...especially the T/A, as I believe that they discontinued the T-top option with a 350 sometime early in 91...might be worth pulling the VINs on both of them to make sure they're both born with 350s...could be a couple of quite rare cars...

Thats what I was thinking that teh Iroc was priced a little high, I mean thats a lot of work for that kind of money. I have always wanted a GTA but again I thought it was a little rough for the money. I am still thinking about making a offer on the GTA I think that would be a project that I wouldn't mind taking on.

Hey Jess can you PM me his number and maybe I can give him a call later this week?

I believe this is the same guy that I have gotten a few parts from a while ago. Very good to deal with, helpful and good prices on parts.

IMO the iroc is priced way too high, but its still a damn worthy car. I love to see cars be "brought back".

I think the 87 iroc is one of the best looking stock camaro's. If they would have offered the 350 with a manual trans I may have one instead of my 96. The lack of a manual trans in large quantities killed any possibility for me.

                              Hey, that barn looks familiar!

I agree that prices and service are fair and honest. I bought a couple rust free fenders for $100, the same fenders from Hawks go for $125 each. I would have bought more but you can only fit 4 fenders and a bumper cover in a 2001 Grand Prix.

                              Hey Jess,
If Brandon ever gets a 90-92 GTA Hardtop or a nice Hardtop Formula 5-speed(TPI) that is rust free please let me know. I'm having second thoughts about modifying my 88'.
