I told him the same thing.... If you want to make a race race this would be the perfect car to do it with. but those guys are here and there.

I asked him what his bottom line was and he told me some guy was coming from lansing to look at it etc, but he would take 3,800.

Maybe I will call him tomorrow and see if there is any truth to the 3500 number.

well from the sounds of it, it looks like this car is waiting on someone to gut it and race it. 4l60e's are easy to find, esp on ebay. or you could put a 700r4. or you could really low ball the guy and used the saved money to buy a turbo 350 and convert it to carburated. junk interior? no problem, tear it all out, put in a racing seat and take it to the track. with all the problems this car is pretty much a rolling chassis with an LS1 under the hood. and im pretty sure smooth is right. walk up with a trailor and some cash.
