1.9 Dual Overhead Cam 4 cyl + Automatic
29 mpg in town / over 40 hwy is what we averaged with it
145k miles
Pearl White with Tan Interior
Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors, Steering, Sun Roof (works perfect)
Cruise Control
CD player
Keyless Entry w/ 1 remote (works great)
alloys 16 inches

The Good:
Fuel System Cleaned
New Fuel Filter
Battery 2 years old
Tires and Bakes less than 5k miles on them
New Temp Sensor
New upper valve cover gaskets
New plugs and wires
New Kenwood front speakers
New Sylvania "cool blue" headlights (perform just under silverstars)

The Bad:
Windshield is Cracked
Horn does not work
Exhaust Leak
Leaks about a quart of oil between changes
AC needs recharge
Backseat has stains
rear windows dont roll down

Be a good first car or winter beater, KBB in poorest shape is $1900 and great shape is $3800.

lol, stains are from a few cig burns, and fiance spilled a bottle of make up or nail polish or something. the bad stain is black almost softball size.

from what ive heard, almost all of these saturn SL's use a quart of oil between changes. For that price i would have bought this had i not already gotten a truck!

ya know it was a great little car for the price but we replaced it with an 02 vw 5 speed the fiance loves it

I had it on craigslist for eh almost 27 hours and had over 20 emails and 12 voicemails about it! guy showed up 1100 cash...

Very true, Some burn through a guart every 400 miles. I always told my ex who owned one "fill up the oil and check the gas"

My wife has an sl1 with thw 1.9 sohc motor with an automatic... does not leak oil...yet you never see any smoke out of the exhaust... and uses about a half a quart every 3000 miles... i don't bother using amsoil in it because of this. it's damn slow... but it gets 40MPG+ religously... well except if i have to drive it for some god awful reason... lol
