  • FS: 1991 Honda CR250

The bike was stripped to the frame, media blasted, powder-coated, and reassembled using many new parts this winter. Some of the new parts include Weisco piston and rings, Cosmetic Gaskets, Boyesen Power Series Reeds, Twin Air Air Filter, steering stem bearings, suspension bearings, ALL new plastic, CEET Gripper black seat cover, levers, and front and rear EBC pads. Bike has a stock pipe with Pro Circuit spark arrestor. Other extras on the bike include Renthal handlebars and billet chain guide (new poly guides installed during rebuild). Bikes comes with a knobby on it, but also comes with a brand new paddle tire. During the rebuild process as many bolts as possible were replaced and many of which are stainless. Also, the brakes were completely flushed and bled using synthetic fluid. The bike has about 4-5 hours on the complete rebuild and runs great. I didn't rebuild the forks this winter but they were only a few rides before I got the bike.

My only real complaint of the bike I can think of off hand is that the kickstarter has some play. Not uncommon for a bike this old, especially a Honda. I've seen 5 year old Hondas with this much play in the kickstarter.

    $850

**** yes! I got the Honda as a project this winter. It's a great bike and all but I've never been a Honda fan. The honda was actually the only bike I'd ever owned other than Yamahas over the years. Sinking down and buying a Suzuki was enough leap.

Actually I'm not that hating against Honda. I just don't have a use for 2 bikes.
