$4000 is way low for that car. If he takes $4k for it, I would be coming to get it right now. And im dead serious

EDIT: now $4k for the roller seems about right

Personally, I would not buy a roller for 4k.

I think you're a bit high but going in the right direction...he might ask $4000 but I doubt he'd see any offers over $3500...maybe $2500-3000 in this economy...rollers are just tough sells in general as it really limits your buyer pool...

That said, for turn key, I'd think he could ask $6500 for it but be prepared to take $5800...keep in mind the perspective that buyers can get into a 1998-2000 LS1 for that as well...that's the neighborhood it will have to be priced in...

I agree on the first part but 4k for a roller seems a bit high.

here is a very similar one I spotted for sale to http://corpuschristi.craigslist.org/ctd/1657743231.html only 66k miles, more than just a roller for under 4k

good original running examples can be had from 5k

well i'm not desparate to sell the car

i prefer to sell a roller....would ask 5k for that

and like 13k for a complete car. i saw a 02ss stock go for 14 a month ago.

i might sound like i'm on crack to people, but hey, like i said, not desparate to sell it. for some of the prices posted above, i could find a stock motor/trans along with suspension parts and sell the car for that same price. its an idea i've been tossing around and offering up a chance for anyone who wants to build a car to get a good clean solid head start.

i know the car isn't stick, but with everything else done. its not like a trans swap is hard. i even have a console for a stick that could go with the car

Any reason you want to sell the car? Personal or just want to get out of the scene and move on to other things? Honestly if looking to sell your best option might be to return it to stock, swap in a stock motor trans sell that as a complete car and then part out all your performance parts. Might take longer and might be a lot of work but I see you getting the best money that way.

really....looking to get an older car just cause of the emissions testing stuff that we have to go thru here

i still love the car, just seems i can't enjoy it like a few years ago, thats why i want to sell it as a roller.

its not a bad idea, just don't have the cash to front doing that right now as i just bought a house too

If anyone on here has ever seen the car in person they would deffinitly think twice about saying this is worth 4-6000, I have been in theis car, and worked on this car ALOT, And this isnt just a swapped 6.0L car. Steve has went the extra mile in every way possible on this car. Even when modding the floor for the LS style exhaust he had me weld plates and grind it all so it looked factory, the cowl when he cut it, he had me weld the gap and grind it. When he did the k-member he replaced all the bolts with brand new OEM equipment (which was around i think 150 for bolts bc he didnt want an old bolt haha)

When He did the motor every single nut and bolt was sand blasted so it looked factory new. Steve is very very picky when he makes modifications and there was not one corner cut on this car.

I personally would pay around the 4K mark for this car as a roller and Deffinitly say it is worth over 10,000 as a complete car.

Try pricing the 6.0L swap out, all the parts he has put into that motor add up to I would assume 5-6000 not including exhaust wiring etc.

Im building a 6.0L simaler to his but lower compression and stock heads and am around the 5000 mark.

If anyone was seriosuly interested in this car it would be worth taking the trip across the border to see it, you will NOT be dissapointed.

If its a clean car your after that is headache free and not a hackjob this is the car you want.
