Aww man - keep the 'maro, and buy a beater.

Wait, why not just drive the Blazer like you do now?

You have a nice Camaro and you have a reliable DD car... Whats the problem?

Apparently he took out a loan and wants to pay it off. Really hard situation... Honestly man, you can do what I do and drive the LT1 in the winter... It's doable. You can sell your blazer and keep the LT1... Honestly, you either buy nice all seasons OR buy poverty wheels with winter tires and swap out your chromes with the poverty depending on climate. I do all season tires and spray my car weekly, this year I did well as I have not seen any added rust under the chassis. The body is usually easy to take care of, it's the chassis that's the most difficult to keep salt free. If you think you can't drive your Camaro in the winter you're wrong. Put it back to stock height, spray the car off frequently and get nice tires, you will be okay.

now your talking..better yet, why not quit spending your money on a car that isn't paid for? Pay the car off, buy a DD, THEN mod it if you have money.. I never understood why people think to sell cars with lower loans just to get in more debt or heavily modify cars they haven't even paid off to begin with.

priorities my friend, get that debt paid off and you'll have that much more money to spend on the car later. Being the slowest car out of your friends is a small price to pay for being responsible and having no debt.

No qualms with modding a car that's not paid off as long as you are keeping it until it's well paid off.

Agreed - I built my car up and I'm at ~325. It's definitely not the fastest on the site and I got beat last year by a stock LT1 with a 3 speed (before my car was tuned). BUT, I still have enough power that it's fun to drive and if people win - so what?

My Camaro was slow as hell, but was just so much fun to drive.

Yeah, I enjoyed the 3.4L too - the only reason I wanted to upgrade to the LT1 is because I needed the "total package" for car shows - exterior, interior, engine bay..

Well yeah - the cammed idle is part of the total package. What I meant was that I didn't upgrade to the LT1 to be faster than anyone.
