  • GI/Feedback:1994 camaro??

Okay guys im thinking about selling my camaro and getting a more year round car? So im thinking about putting it up for sale for $5500 right now with all the stuff it has...

    1. it has newer geostar tires form about a year ago an have like 75% tread left

    9. Car is very low but has new stuts and shocks and will come with old springs just encase you want to have it at stock height
    10. Honestly people give me complements all the time at how clean it is for the year
    11. I might be missing some stuff so ask me if you think of anything im missing...??

    2. Poly Trans Mount

Depends on what kind of car you want to buy.

No, seriously, I think those are fair prices as much as I hate to see you sell the car.

I may be wrong but I don't think you'll get back what you put into those upgrades. I just know that I wouldn't pay extra except for maybe the stall, besides you may not want to sell it after doing the upgrades lol.

If your going to sell it then sell it the way it sits with the extra uninstalled things. $5500 is probably a good price to start at...

I'm with this guy. With the market right now, LS1 cars can be had for that price.. so its going to be hard to get good money for your lt1. I see no problem with driving a beater car as a DD and having the sports car for fun, I've been doing it for 3 years now.

while this is true, you also get to low ball like crazy on other cars once you sell it, which makes it come out even.

I almost did the same thing that you are about to do with my formula and it would have been a mistake. I wrecked it soon after with plpd and sold it to a junk yard for 1500. I was then FORCED to drive a lil 4 banger beater, which drove good, but i could not stand not having the power. You will regret it unless you replace it with something faster!!

adding the extra upgrades and then selling the car is NOT the way to go. Just like how you said you bought it for 5 k and put 2 k into it and now your going to "try" to get 5,500. Waste of money to mod your car with the intent of selling it right after unless your a well known builder or are restoring a classic car from frame up....otherwise you will lose $$ 9 times out of 10.

$5,500 would be good place to start at and then come down...however to put it into perspective...i bought a 94 Formula for $4,800 with 75K on it in good condition back in 2002. Didnt have the mods that yours does...just K&N and Flowmaster tho. on another note though.....people sell stuff that seems waaaaay overpriced and people buy it all the time..."so to each their own". Good luck with the sale, but i would just keep it and get a DD.

I agree with that 99% of the time inless you buy it cheap enough and you find a sucker I mean an uninformed buyer. Too often people bring in a car that was throughn together by a hack but it was shiny. We call that "putting purfume on a piig"
