I agree on the strangeness of this all..........not to mention if you were able to get a transferrable title you could ask more than $700. It might be worth the extra effort.

She's going to look into it. If nothing else, I'll part it out and scrap the shell myself. There is no lien, I bought it off of Josh (ZYOUL8R?) back in 06. Had to put it in her name due to insurance. Now this.

If you part it out I'd be interested in many parts. But just to be clear. You have the title, and she will sign it? Cause if that's the case then there shouldn't be any problem with the new owner of the car... Please post up some pictures. 77k miles and only $700 it may be worth my or someones else's trouble.

I'll get you some more pics. And yes, she's more than willing to sign the title. I will try to scan the title to prove that there is no lien on the title.

I cannot guarantee the "free" part until my mom speaks to her lawyer. If it is, yes. 700 bucks will just be a shell with part of the 305 left, no trans, etc.

I have never heard of being forced to keep a vehicle without a lien. Weird. Good luck on the sale...It seems like a good deal.

She'll be calling her lawyer on Monday, hopefully he's in. We're not sure why she has to keep her cars.. cars don't last forever with her, after all.

She could have used the Vin # for Collateral.. That could be why ... For another loan... Ya would like to see more pics of int and ext for sure...

I will get some ASAP. Car is located in Lapeer, MI for any locals who want to take a look. I need to get out there to shoot them anyway.

BTW: She hasn't had a loan since 1999, I got this in 2006. I've checked to see if she had loans when she tried to buy a different used car and 1999 was the last time she did.

there is still something fishy about this.. .hence why it got locked up on Motown..

you need to find out why the title cant be transferable before you go and sell this

agreed.. not tot mention if its hung up in a law suit or something it would be illegal for her to sell them at all.. even with you saying its yours and not hers..

YAPPERS, I have seen it a few times. In A Law Suit they are able to hold and frez any valuable items. Untill payment !!!! that was agreed apond in court. If try selling any of these items the Money must go to the law suit or could resault in Jail Time Or More Legal Issues.

$700 seems a like a good deal but I don't think getting wrapped up in a legal issue is worth it no matter the price of the car.
