You shouldn't have taken it apart! I would have bought it had you not taken it apart. I just went through your other thread and you did a nice job on cleaning up the interior!
I was thinking on a similar mindset as you, making it a 3000 lb car that runs 12s.

I just read his project thread and from what I read the exterior appear to be the same except for the front bumper and extra hole or two. He did remove the front bumper and primed it.

Thanks, yeah I am kinda mad at myself for pulling the engine so early vs driving it. But at least its halfway done now. I have had thoughts of putting it back together stock other than new pistons and rings, .030 over and all new gaskets, water pump, plugs, wires, motor mounts, etc and driving it until it dies then building it.

Yes the body is still the same. Other than what Brian just stated. I put 2 (i think) accidental holes in the bumper about 5/16ths of an inch but the bumper needs to be repainted either way.

I plan on starting the body work here once summer hits. Fix all dents, prime, 150 sand, prime again, then see where I am at.... Once I start putting more work into it I will slowly bump the price up since it will be in more and more positive condition. Also need to finish repairing dash and also put headliner back in.

Well let me know if you change your mind. I think you would do a little better than 1500 if you parted it out. It will be very hard to to find a home for the car as it sits.
