  • 94 Mercury Grand Marquis LS $650obo

My brother is selling his Grand Marquis LS. Just like the Jeffersons, he’s MOVIN’ ON UP! Well, kinda… He’s getting my 96 Grand Marquis. The car runs good, although it does burn some oil. Nothing major but you will need to check it and add about a quart every other week. At the moment the car has 207,xxx miles. He bought the car 2 years ago with around 180,000 mi. Also, the pictures it has no hubcaps. They are in the trunk. I really don’t know why he didn’t put it back on after the old tires were replaced.

    Pros
-Interior is actually pretty clean for its age
    -Rear tires replaced 10/09
    -Front tires replaced 10/08
    -Alignment 10/09
    -Spark Plugs/wires replaced at 200k
    -Air Filter replaced at 200k
-Trans filter/gasket replaced around 195k (it has been a few times before that so we weren’t doing it for the first time and opening a can of worms)
-Fuel filter replaced in spring of 2009
-Brakes have probably 10-12k on them. I did them about this time last year.
-All lights still work – Just mentioning because I’ve has some electrical gremlins with my lighting system and I know my grandpa has with his 2004 Grand Marquis also.
-Has a new serpentine belt in the trunk.

    Cons
    -Windshield is cracked
-Power Steering lines need to be replaced
-Slowly burns oil. A quart every 2 weeks or so.
-Needs a drivers side marker light. The cover is busted but it still works. You can get them at a junkyard for like $15 and they are held in my 1 bolt behind the headlight and 1 screw on the outside.

Asking $650obo. Car is located in Goodrich, MI. The car makes it through winter with no issues. The rear tires he just put on are pretty aggressive like a winter tire. Please PM me here or email me at TAHalley85@gmail.com I’ll update the thread when I get his email.

      You'd think that, wouldn't you?

I got mine from my Grandpa for $1 so I wasn't going to pass it up. After my brother wrecked his 2004 Cavalier he had so many points on his license that this car was all he could afford. He bought it from a family friend for like $1500 and planned to get a year out of it at best. I went through it and fixed it up a bit and its been running good now for 2+ years. Now that our other Grandpa passed away and we got his Lincoln we have to get rid of something in the drive. It looks like a used car lot with 9 cars in the drive and 4 people in the house
