  • 1996 Caprice Classic for sale

Beautiful 96 Caprice Classic with the lt1 motor and auto trans. I have owned it for about a year and before me it was elderly owned and all stock no aftermarket parts ...all GM with 95,xxx miles, No rust or surfice rust vary vary clean and well maintained and garage kept. Runs and drives excellent. Also has excellent tires and vary clean interior and engine bay. $4,500...........Might consider a trade for gm full size xcab 2wd truck or suburban. Must be clean and have under 100,000 miles. Also looking for a open car trailer.

You might want to put the white walls on one side and the black walls on the other side.

This would make a good sleeper.... Drivetrain wise what was different on a impala SS?

    Free bump, Good Luck

Engine, trans, body panels, are the exact same thing. The only difference you will notice is the grill, unless changed to the SS grill, and the interior. The Impala's have SS embroided(sp?) in the headrest and also the Impala logo in the middle of the rear seat. Also a small difference, right above the radio, in between the radio and heater controls, the Impala's say Impala SS and the Caprice's say Caprice. Other than that no big difference. I'm sure we'd like to have you over at www.Missl.org, Michigan's biggest and most active B-Body club. Good luck with the sale, it is super clean and i'd like to have it next to my 93 Caprice, but money is an issue in a lot of people's lives
