  • 2001 Red T/A WS6 With LS3

I would love to see this car go to someone that would truly take care of it as I out a lot of time and money in to it. That being said I am just ready to move onto something different, I'm sure I'll be back to F-Bodies and hopefully my seventh one will be a 5th Gen. This will also help me pay off some debt that I have had around for longer than I have preferred.

The car is a LS3 swapped 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Red M6 with all bolt-ons and a cam that I did myself and hasn't given me any problems on the multiple 500+ mile trips. The interior is black ebony leather with the seats in good condition. The engine and clutch has just under 11,000 miles on it. The body itself has about 118K miles on the car, but you wouldn't be able tell. The car has been a southern car up until I bought it, but has never seen snow. The body is pretty much rust free if any at all.

The engine has been properly broken in and has run great with no issues. During the break-in process I used Rottela T and a K&N filter. I have always used K&N filters on this engine. After the break-in period I have used Castrol Syntec 0W-30 or 5W-30. I have seen no metal shavings come out of the pan when doing any oil changes. Oil changes were done ever 2500-3000 miles. I also had the trans flushed back when I put the new engine in. Rear differential fluid is in great shape too.

When I got the car dyno tuned it put down 435RWHP, but the tuner said his dyno reads low. For example C6 Z06's dyno 435RWHP on his dyno but dyno 455RWHP everywhere else. Though with the cutout now installed it seems about 15 RWHP/RWTQ is added, making about 465-470 RWHP (or about 560 flywheel horse power). TJ at Baker Engineering here in Grand Rapids, MI tuned it and it runs and drives very smooth. I drive it everyday and I can cruise 40mph in sixth at 900 rpms even with the cam. This car could EASILY be in the 480-490RWHP range with a Stage 2 Ported Intake.

I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere as I have already. Everyone gives me compliments on the car and I can't drive anywhere without getting head nods of approval.

Here is a list of modifications, the dyno video and a link to some pictures at the end.

The not so good: I had a child of a friend think it would be fun to take his toy car to the car and well it left some pretty deep scratches. I left it with the intent of getting the whole car repainted this winter. The clear has really peeled back on the hood but most of the other scratches are pretty shallow. There is some clear peeling on the drivers door below the key whole when a friend buffed the car out. There are also rock chips on the front bumper and headlight covers and some scrapes on the bumper and rockers from bottoming out by the previous owner. The sail Panel has some bubbling. The arm rest button is missing in the center console and there is a crack in the driver door panel. The driver seat is getting worn on the bolster but hasn't worn all the way through. There is a wear spot through the carpet by the gas pedal also.

Again this car is a great car whether it be someones daily driver or weekend car. With the cutout closed the car is barely louder than stock and virtually no rasp due to the Flowmaster merge. With the cutout open it sounds amazing and definitely turns heads with lots of approval. I have taken this car on two 2000 mile trips round-trip and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I averaged between 20-22 mpg on the trips. The heat blows hot and the A/C is ice cold, it was just recharged this summer. The car definitely turns heads and I hate to think about selling it but like I said before I would really like to get out of debt. The car runs great with no mechanical hiccups, just needs a few cosmetic fixes. Also the car has a clean title with no accidents.

For $14,000, then the whole exertior will be repainted red. If you want a different color then the price will be a few grand more.
If you come see the car and want at least the hood repainted then the price will be $12,500.
Otherwise the price is $12,000 as-is.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys! It's been a great car, but I am ready for a bit of a change. I know the things to fix list seems long but I am just being really picky so that there aren't any surprises. There were a few surprises when I bought the car and I was a little pissed, but there also somethings that I didn't know were included so that helped out. It would be awesome to see it go to someone here as I know it would be taken care of. I hate selling cars locally that I put a lot of work into and just watch it rot away

It's a really WS6, I can take a picture of the RPO codes. I just listed them because sometimes people forget what all is apart of the package.
