  • 97 firehawk

K guys well in three rivers, theres 3 fbodies for sale at eagle auto parts. All 3 are are salvage titles. One is a 96 v6 firebird convertible. Another is a 2000 camaro with a v6. And finally they have a 1997 firehawk with 18,000 miles. There asking 5,900 for it. It would need rear quarters, bumper, and maybe a new hatch to get it looking better. The car is extremely nice and as most of you know firehawks are hard cars to get your hands on. Well if anyone is intrested reply back here and I will get pictures for you.

that car could easily have structural damage. id still say its worth saving. theres a fresh LT4 under that hood.

the salvage title just means it was in the junkyard... all you have to do is fix the damage and have it reinspected for like 50 bucks... get a new drivable title... who know though... maybe the damage was more than the insurace company was willing to pay to fix it and they just bought the car out from whoever owened it... still why would you just abandon a pretty much brand new car i would have bought it back from the insurance comapny and atleast held onto it... but just the motor trans and parts are worth what hes askin...

yeah its really a nice car where it hasn't been damaged. I hope someone who will take car of cars gets it. I would've bought it if i had the money, but i'd rather have a third gen. And if i remember everything just looked kind of smashed, doesn't look like a it hard enough to do structural damage. Just my opinion. They won't trade, they just want the money. Gary what street do you live on, one of my friends lives over that way and we just had a party not too long ago. Maybe you heard it?

I stop and looked at the firehawk again this weekend. The rear of the car is toast. Needs new Quarters on both sides, bumper, taillights, front fender, coresupport, rear diff housing bent, 1 wheel lip cracked, this is just for starters. It also has a fair amount of sub-frame damage. The of the car is pushed down and shifted to the left at 1-1/2 inches. If anybody would like picture of the of the firehawk or other cars I can get some and post them up.
