  • 1991 Pontiac Formula Lingenfelter

So I can across this on another site I'm on and figure I would post it here so someone would buy it before I do. Not mine.....

    http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=138662

350 tpi with lingenfelter "super ram" intakes, runners, and throttle body. World sportsman 2 heads, comp cam, short headers, flowmaster exhaust, mild converter and 3.23 gears. B/M megashifter, subframe conectors, rear diff girdle, spring lowered 1-1/2 inches. Good rubber, good paint, hauls ass. 110,000 on the body, 22,000 on the engine. Trans had regular maintenance, engine has been fed synthetics since I bought it in 92 (or 93, can't quite remember). No winters, always garaged.

It's cars like these that drive me insane. Would've been cheaper to buy it. Anyway, I ran against one of these back in the Detroit Dragway days. Got so into running it, that I broke out, but can honestly say, they are MEAN. Very nice ride and it's a steal at $4k. Bump for an awesome deal.

The motor with that intake on it alone is worth $2K. Definately a good deal if it's as clean as it appears.

Great deal! Looks like it'd be pretty quick.

Anyone have any numbers on them?

He didn't have any numbers when I emailed him about it but said he might soon. I know those intake greatly improved the airflow to the TPI motors.

This is what he said about the car: "The bird is pretty clean, just a little rust under the tail end of the deck lid. I have another one, but its not even close enough to cause me replace it."

                            Hi,
I'm new here and I thought I would let you all know that I purchased this car in June of this year(2010). The previous owner is a good friend of mine and I finally broke down and bought it before anyone else could.
It was an early 40th birthday/midlife crisis present and has become my weekend cruiser. It has a 3 inch dual exhaust and it sits REALLY low to the ground(watch out for speed bumps). When you start this thing it sounds like a gun shot and it sounds MEAN as hell(fast as too). Anyway, it's not perfect but I intend to work on it and hopefully, with knowledgeable guidance from some on this forum to turn it into the the complete package it deserves to be.
