Details on the Camaro...
1998 - 3.8L V6 - Tremec T5 manual transmission
- 103k flawless miles
- charcoal cloth interior
- crank windows
- manual locks
- Mobil 1 10w-30 every 3,000 miles religiously since I bought it, always done myself.
Mods:
- Custom bent exhaust with magnaflow knock-off muffler
- Z28 Auburn clutch-type posi rear end w/ stock ratio 3.23 gears
- LS1 aluminum driveshaft (11lbs vs factory 35lbs)
- New Exedy OEM replacement clutch (500 miles)
- Energy Polyurethane Transmission Mount
- Mobil 1 transmission fluid (fresh with clutch)
- 32mm/19mm sway bars with polyurethane bushings/endlinks
- 4x Infinity Reference 6.5"
- Pioneer Head unit (can't remember model #)
- Flat black "Berger" panel
- Niteshades blacked out turn signals and rear corners
- Time Attack style C5 Z06 wheels 17x9.5"
- 275/40R17 Riken Raptors (all 4 corners)
- Blacked out OEM headlights
- "LT1" red tails retrofit (no more ugly tri-colors)
- Removed lower "shopping cart" door trim molding
- Flat black Grand Sport Corvette style Fender stripes
- Brake calipers shaved and painted RED with Duplicolor Ceramic with "CAMARO" stickers under clear on front calipers
The Bad:
- Couple dents on drivers side rear quarter, been there since I bought the car, haven't had a chance to get them fixed
- Paint defect on far rear passenger quarter
- Paint cracking off both corners of rear bumper, huge patch of touch-up paint masking it on the drivers side, passenger side is new.
- Spiderwebbing on bottom of front facia and stone chips... everywhere
- A/C delete... if you consider that to be a bad thing. It didn't work anyway, so I decided to save the 35 pounds and yank it. I still have all the parts, just a couple cut lines...
For $3,995 the car will be sold on the winter wheels which are 16" steelies with Yokohama Iceguard snow tires. The Z06 wheels can be included with the sale for another $550, which is what I payed for the tires alone. Also I did not list the intake lid or Hurst shifter that are currently on the car because I am trying to sell those parts separately. If you would like those parts as well I am open to offers.
Thanks!
