  • 1987 IROC For Sale

Found this near Giddings and Walton (either Pontiac or Auburn Hills - it's not ghetto).

Seemed a little rough around the edges, but was a very solid cars (I looked at those inner quarters - and they were solid.

I didn't check the floors, but it had the general third gen rust around the rear wheel wells (easily repairable), looks like the drivers door was damaged a little (potentially a possible break in), and the hood was a little bent right at the front left light. Oh, and it really needed new paint and new T-top weatherstripping...

But otherwise...a solid car. The guy wants WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much, at $3800 (more than I paid for mine). Has a 305 TPI and a 5-Speed Manual, w/ 3.73 Posi rear end.

I've only seen pictures of yours, but if I recall right it looked a lot better than that one.

                It did.

My car was in way better shape, and had a bunch of go-fast goodies.

                I agree, Jeff - I'd say that'd be a good price.

I'm not going to pick it up, though, just was posting to let someone know about a solid car, but yeah, the guy thinks way too highly of his car.

I'd love to own a IROC again, but that's not a candidate.

I think I seen that 1 a few weeks ago when I was getting my taxes done down that way. Looked nice from the road as we drove by.

Yeah, my buddy that I work with (and go to school with, he's another co-op) spotted that on the way into work.

It was funny, he asked if IROCs only came in red. I told him "No, but it sure seems like that's all you ever see ". But yeah, it's a solid car, a good $2k car, I'd say.

heck I paid 4k for mine in my sig. less the rims LOL!

That's a little steep. Yeah drop it down 2k unless its got really low miles.

Haha, especially since he doesn't see the driver's side...if he ever did, he'd just think it got hit!
