Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I bought this last year to drive for the winter, but now it's been sitting in my driveway since the day after christmas and won't start. I've gone thru trying to figure out what's the deal and think it may be the fuel pump or injectors, or both, or neither...LOL! Don't care anymore just want to get rid of it.

I'd take it off your hands if I could fix it, and your too far for me just to come check it out. Sounds like one of my old cars. Drop the tank and you'll find the problem.
U talkin fuel pump? I'll check that if it doesn't sell soon...it's like $250 for the pump and I already blew enough on stuff for it. Plus if the injectors are bad, I don't think I can do that myself.

I would just drop the tank and check it. It could be the pump, look for a cheaper pump too, it's easy to find one. I believe the filter or something on my old car balooned up and swelled so the pump couldn't take in any fuel.

How will I know if it's not working properly?

use a test light to see if its got power, maybe the wiring is bad, but when you turn the key to the on posistion the fuel pump should cycle for a few seconds, which you can hear on most cars

just turn the key as far as it goes to the on position, and listen to the pump. Hell get someone else to turn the key on while you stick your head under the car if you can't hear it. And before you go dropping the tank, I would check fuel pressure at the rails first.

^^ they wouldn't let me rent one anymore last summer when my fuel pump went out in the Z. That may be because I live in a tiny town or not, I don't know.
