1991 explorer

i have a 1991 explorer sport 2dr 4.0 with a 5 speed manual 154,xxx miles I put a new shifter in it and then found out that the piece the shifter pushes for 1st and 2bd is broke but i cant afford to fix it and i cant afford to wait and save the money to fix it. it can be fixed for around $50 at the most probly cheaper. i gave it a tune u and it runs great. i need this gone like now. idk what it is really worth so make an offer any offer and i will probly accept it.

every gear works but you cant shift it into 1st or 2nd. i drove it today for about 2 miles took off in 3rd though and backed it into the drive way. oh yeah it is 4x4 and that works great.

any offers at all i am serious if i dont get an offer i will probly scrap it but i dont want to do that because i know it's worth more than that. it's got a few good parts. it has brand new tires. brush guard, good strong engine. and a few other good things just get it out of my yard so i can get a new vehicle

wow man you need to get yourself a car that runs and drives good. Seems like the last dozen cars you've had have been broken down and don't work.

the last 3 i have had i drove for a while before they broke the van blew an intake gasket but that is my parents van, the 1981 dodge i had caught on fire while i was driving and now this explorer broke while i was driving

not yet i dont really like dealing with some of the people on there so i havent gotten around to it yet. if i could afford it i would put a new tranny in it but i cant buy a new tranny on $3 and thats all i have right now. but i really liked this explorer super comfy

ok i know what needs to be done to fix this explorer. you have to drop the tranny take 6 bolts out and then a cover will come off the the top and all the stuff the shifter pushes around are right there you pull the broken one out and replace it. it shouldnt cost very much it is a little piece and it wouldnt take long to replace but i dont have the stuff to be dropping a tranny and i dont have the time to do this. i need to sell this like this weekend i am going to be working 7 days a week starting on monday and cant be messing around with a vehicle on my spare time i need to count my losses and take the money and try and get a vehicle that i wont have to be workin on the transmission.
