    description:

    1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula

I got this car to fix up but never had the time. It was partially restored but never finished by previous owner. It is clean, escpecially for a '73. The body is solid and rust free, the underbody has minimal surface rust as far as I could tell, I did not see anything major or holes. Very good candidate to fully restore or give it a little work and drive it. It does run and drive but it has not been driven in a few years, it will need to be trailered and as with any vehicle that has been sitting I would inspect it and do some maintaince before putting it on the road. The car is about ready for paint, it has been sanded down and all the lights and trim have been removed. I haven't driven it since fall '08 but there was no noticeable problems at that time, it has been sitting since.

    TRM 246 A51 74 74 PNT

    Engine:
    455 cid Pontiac V8
    6X Cylinder Heads
    Edelbrock Intake Manifold
Edelbrock Carb & Air Filter assembly
Chrome valve covers & water neck
    newer battery & radiator
the engine sounds like it has an upgraded cam, the car did not come with any recipts or documentation.
I believe the engine was rebuilt a few years ago, again no documation or anything so not making any promises
Carb has a manual choke, which needs a cable (starts right up when its warm but takes a little while when its cold w/o a choke cable)

    Trans:
    4 speed manual transmission
    hurst shifter (no knob though)

    Interior:
    dash is good
    carpet is new
    headliner & sunvisors are ok
interior needs seats, back seat plastics, a-pillar plastics, gauge bezel trim, center console if desired, door panels, misc other plastics & trim, rear speakers (I have some brand new speakers i will cut a deal to the winning bidder if interested)

    Exterior:
body is straight and rust free for the most part, again it needs paint, locks & handles, front turn signals, drivers side tail-light & front lower valance.
wheels are good and have all trim but the tires are old and need replacing.

Please feel free to ask any questions, or if you would like to come see the car in the Lansing, MI area my cell is 517 819 5235.

$300 due within 24 hours of auctions end, remaining is due upon pickup. It will need to be trailered home (FYI uhaul car dollys run $60-80 per day).

No reserve, highest bidder gets it.

    PICTURE NOTE:
The engine pics and the picture in the garage were when the car was taken apart, it is now put back together ready to go. Thanks

Sorry to see it go - hope you get a good penny for it, though.

That thing has some sexy potential. The front end of those style Firebirds are amazing.

Ive seen all the work youve done on the camaros.

What skills are you lacking in trying to make this one a driver?
