    FS: 1994 Ford Explorer 4X4 Limited

    All right guys, I am looking to sell one of my DD's. The truck is got 170,000mis on the original 4.0L engine but the auto trans has been replaced a few times. on it but it runs and drives strong. It has had transmission work done within the last 10,000 miles and shifts solid. It is a Michigan truck driven in every winter since new but the frame and components are solid. It has 4x4 but there is an issue with it I have not been able to figure out. It makes a noise in 4X but not in 2X.

    The truck is loaded, tan leather interior, power everything. I think the only thing it did not come with that was offered in '94 is a CD player and a 5.0L engine. It does come with the "limited" side skirts but I took them off becuase they were coming loose and I did not want them to fall off.

    If you are looking for a reliable winter car or even something to haul an engine or something around this would be great. I have been able to fit rear axles, SBC engines, and even used it to move 2-3 times! So it will take your beating. It is a nice truck but where I am living I am only allowed to keep one vehicle and I cannot afford to store it. KBB is over $2,500 and around $2000 NADA. I priced this so I will not have to haggle. This is bottom dollar price for a running / driving 4x4 vehicle. Price is $1000 Firm!

        fwiw the 5.0 wasnt an option till 95

            i just wanted him to know that he's not missing an option as it was not available for that model year

              You are correct, this is a 4.0 V6 Truck. The 5.0 did not come out until a year later so actually this truck is fully loaded per its year.
