You would Think, but like John Said the vast majority of these cars end up out of state and in the hands of private collectors.

      Thanks, John F.
I would actually think the opposite would be true...that there are more people in Michigan interested in historical vehicles (myself included).

My question is, how historical are these cars?

Berger didn't build it...all they did was put stickers on it...

That aside, I still wouldn't mind owning one...just can't justify what I'm getting for the price...

And $101K for an 7 year old Dick Harrell car? C'mon...

Lots of People had those same thoughts about the 1969 ZL-1's, the yenkos, the baldwin motions, the nickeys, etc. and well you see what they are worth today. So I guess we'll just have to wait 30 years and see.

In 30 years I can justify the crazy price, but these cars are only 10 years old.

Yes, I would have to agree with Brian, Jeff and Gary that I would "think", and that's the key word , that people in Michigan would want to own a piece of f-body history. Granted it's only been 6 to 8 years since these cars have come out. With all the magazine articles and information you can read about now-a-days people that live outside of the Michigan area, and outside the USA are very interested in owning special edition cars. That's why you see people putting $50K price tags on these cars. Someone will buy them. They sit in someone's personal collection for a few years and then they will see one sell for $60K, and they throw an ad on craigs list or ebay for 60+.
I know I have no intention of selling my Berger, or any of my other Camaro's. Heck, I've owned my 79 since brand new. Now that most all the first gens have been grabbed up the value of 2nd and 3rd gens are rising. Lots of people wanting to build and pro-street these cars. (Just look at the people on this site). People invest in these special edition cars hoping they hold there value and figure they can unload them in a few years and make a little profit. Nothing wrong with that. Some just want to have them, (like me).

how many of us have been 140 + with out stock lt1's?
That's kinda what I was getting at...it's gonna take a while to get there. I'm sure it's possible my LS1 does 160+ I'm not sure exactly how fast cuz when it's buried it's buried but you get the idea. 50mph more...I'm sure I could get 210mph with the right gears and a nice stretch of road, lol.
