I'll definitely look into them! The car is on lock right now, no way I'm selling it damaged like this, but it will be back up for sale immediately after I get it back repaired to my liking. I'll still take offers though.

What do you mean do different?

I may see about having the quarters fixed, but right now money is tight to spend any extra on the repairs, and I didn't include that damage on the police report.

IMO it doesn't make sense to make a insurance claim(which likely has a $500 deductible and will raise your insurance in the future) and only have them fix the door/fender. Then you are still trying to sell a car that has a screwed up quarter panel. Nobody will give you good money for a car that has a big dent in one of the panels and the fact that the air conditioing doesn't work.

If it were mine I would sell the wheels, and all of the aftermarket mods. Either part the car out or sell it as a whole. I THINK these cars have taken a hug hit price wise in the last year.
However you may have extra funds and extra time before you need it gone. Me... I wouldn't want to insure a car for another six months.

The reason I am in such a good mood is because I got rid of my camaro this afternoon. It is a weight that has been lifted off my shoulders.
I took off all of my aftermarket mods because I know they don't add any value to the sale. The new owner even noticed, "I don't see any aftermarket parts." If people see aftermarket parts they assume you beat on your car.

try since july/august. I bought my 99 in june valued at 8500 intending to flip it and 2 months later it is worth 6500. So yea im stuck with it, oh well.

Parting wouldn't really make much sense aside from the wheels, and that even depends on if I could find a replacement set cheaper. I've sold the wheels that came on the car promising myself that I would never subject it to anything that hideous again. I'm in a position right now where the $500 deductible for the recent damage really is all I can afford to pay for the repairs. Whether or not the previous dents are repaired really doesn't bother me.

It's also insurance fraud if they find out that what I told them differs from what I told the Sterling Heights cop who wrote the police report, which is that the rear dents were existing.

Believe me, if I could afford to I'd just have them fix all the dents and repaint the whole car, it needs it, but at this point I just want it fixed and sold.

Bump! $6,250? Should be going in for body work in about a week. With the colder weather the door contracts just enough to open without catching the fender so no real rush... I need to get my Talon on the road before I can give it up for repair.

Bump it again. Willing to take offers. $6,000 without the sub and amp. Fender and door are being replaced, and it looks like I may have the rest of the bodywork done my my brother's fiance's father (rear dents pulled, whole car repainted).

Just some constructive criticism - I think youre going to need to take of those things first before people are going to bite.

I think my truck didnt sell over something stupid as gasket leak.
