  • FS: 2000 S-10 ECSB $750obo

My buddy in Grand Rapids is selling his 2000 Chevy S10 for $750. The truck is what you'd expect from eight winters in Michigan. Some slight paint bubbling but no dents. The truck has a 2.2L and 5-spd with 188k on it. I know that seems like a lot of miles but 99% of that is highway. The trucks maintenance schedule has been followed within about 500 miles of each interval. The truck is white with a dark grey interior. It also features a fiberglass tonneau cover, billet grill, and 20% tint.

    Body - 7 out of 10
    Drive train - 9 out of 10
    Interior - 9 out of 10

The truck had tires put on 12k ago, shocks replaced (Monroe Sensitracs)12k ago, and battery replaced last week. The windshield needs replacement along with the driver side tail light. The windshield would be about $300 and the tail light could be purchased for about $10 from a junkyard or ebay.

    Extras
    -Panosonic CD/MP3 Player
-Panosonic speakers in doors and extended cab
    -K&N Intake
-Brand new (never installed) rollpan. Already painted to match the truck

He's going to wash the truck and take pictures tomorrow morning. I'll post them tomorrow night.

Mike, is this Shane's truck? The one we drove to the movies about 4 years ago? If it is, did he remove the lowering kit?

you have just lost all credibility that you once had.

My first car was a New 2003 s-10 with a 2.2. I remember getting in my brother prizm and realizing it was faster than my truck. This truck has an extra3-400 lb with the extrended cab and 188,00 miles.....

I was reading this ad because it sounds like a great truck to drop a small block in. I ave an extra trans and engine, just no time

My buddies is reg cab short box with about 60k on it. He could chirp 2nd, and for a truck that is technology via GM late 90's..... I think thats pretty damn good. I didnt mean it was quick compared to a LS1 or LT1 fbody, I figured most people could figure that out for them selvs.

I had a '98 S-10 regular cab short box with the 2.2 in it with a 5 speed and that thing was THE slowest vehicle I have ever owned, bar none. You could redline it and dump the clutch with the pedal to the floor and it would just chirp and take off. LOL. They are GREAT commuter vehicles though.

I had two regular cab 2.2 5 speeds. They are slow but work well for commuting and hauling light stuff. The 95 GMC Sonoma 2.2 auto was slower than the reg cab 5 speeds by a LOT. I took off from a light once next to a school bus and I had it to the floor and it pulled away from me!!!
