I forgot to mention I am willing to work on the price more for MiFbody members. I want this to go to a good home, and honestly im still hoping it doesnt sell at all.

It will be posted on autotrader in a day or two, so its not "out there" yet.

You work at a GM dealer dont you? I bet Chrysler is still moving a few Ram's with a lifetime power train warranty and 2.99 gallon gas.

thanks Gary, and that is correct. 96, 97, 98, and half of 99 were the only years you could get the fuel injected classic SBC, this was one of them. This engine is GREAT on torque and it will put a grin on your face when you stomp on it. Having driven both I think the 5.7L tows better than the 5.3L. The comparison to the 5.3 is a lot like LT1 vs LS1. the 5.7 feels fast, but the 5.3 will out run it.

yes, I have several 180 mile trips in my mileage log from driving across the state. There are also several i forgot to log.

that is very clean, ESPECIALLY for a truck

I cant wait for my dad to get a new truck so I can buy his '97 Sierra that is CLEAN, these fullsizes are normally beat to hell and back

Just a little feedback, if I was going to pay 10K for a 10yr old truck, I would want the coolant issue fixed. I think that would help the truck sell alot easier (Just trying to help, not bash)
