I've owned this car for 11 years. Drove it for 4, & have had it torn apart for 7. Its got a new quarter panel, doorskin, & rocker on the drivers side. Other than some minor spots that need to be touched up on the body work that has been already done, the only things that still need to be gone through on the body is the front floorboards, & the front fenders. The front subframe is done, with new springs, control arm bushings, & whatever else it needed. The car still has the original 455 that it came with, which has also been gone through, with reworked heads, new crank, & has been balanced. It's got a 4 speed manual trans which needs some work, too(yes, its an original 4 speed car).I have 2 sets of factory t tops that go with it. The only parts that are missing off of the car are the passenger seat, carpet, front end ground effects(3 pieces), a filler piece that goes above the decklid, & the shaker assy. The original color is orange. VIN# 2w87w6n532358. The price $2500 The phone # (586) 212-5221 The name Dean

Bump for a rare car...worth saving.Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! AN ENGINE THAT SHAKES MY INTERNAL ORGANS LIKE THEY GOT PARKINSON'S! I DONT WANT AN ENGINE THAT IS PARTIALLY POWERED BY MY LAPTOP BATTERY!Originally posted by Z28ISGR8WHY THE F*CK IS THERE A GOAT ON A FERRARI?Originally posted by DarrenI think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.

Just what I was thinking.Originally posted by 81DaytonaPaceCar View Postworth saving.
Looks like some of the hard part is done. If it really is a numbers matching engine/trans then it's priced pretty good as well.
These were on my "short list" when I bought the Z.
Wish I had the space and extra cash

A 455 4-speed car with T-tops...kind of the end of an era and the beginning of another...only year you could get those options together...Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! Everyones right so far that it would be a sweet project for someone. Life has changed alot for me in the past few years, and just have no time to finish it. The only Jones is that its not the original trans that came with the car.Originally posted by zmanrc View PostJust what I was thinking.

You probably already know, but it may be a good idea to post it on transamcountry.com.
It's a pretty active 2nd gen Firebird site...shouldn't have any problems getting it sold there.Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED!
