  • For Sale: Black 01 WS6 -$19,000 obo

Im selling my 2001 WS6 Trans AM. I REALLY REALLY LOVE this car and i dont want to sell it. Im buying a house in the spring though and it's a sacrifice that I must make. There is a small chance i can keep it and throw her on top of my house if i have enough equity... but im going to try and sell anyways. This car has been Babied. Im the 3rd owner. The 1st owner was an old guy that traded this in for a porsche. The 2nd owner was my friend from which i bough the car from. He only put 15,000 miles on it in 3 years. So the car has great history and has been taken care of better than any other car i know. Here's what she has:

Car is a 2001 Trans Am with the WS6 Performance package and many well done modifications. This car has been meticulously maintained and the modifications have been well thought out and performanced in a step by step manner by a qualified mechanic with experience in this specific line of cars.

    Body
T-tops nearly perfect but can leak occasionally. Very glossy black paint with only a few minor cosmetic blemishes which include...

    - Small door ding on passengers rear fender
    - Small bubbles in the paint due to the glue attaching the A pillar. This was a common problem for these cars
    - Rub marks on center panel in between tail lights from a garage door
    - Small scratches on front bumper from something falling in the garage

    Interior
Nearly perfect interior troughout the car. No rips, tears or stains anywhere inlcuding the leather.

    - Equipped with the extraordinary monsoon stock audio system
    - 10' MTX sub in a stealth box located in the left side cubby hole in the trunk maintiaining the stock storage spots for the T-Tops.

    Suspension
This was the next step for modifications that we never really got around to. With the few things that are done, the car now has little to no body roll and is a blast to drive.

    - Eagle F1 Tires in the front with tons of tread left.
    - Basically bald Nitto Drag Radials in the back. No big burnouts or donuts have ever been done with the car, but with as much power as this car has, traction is definately an issue. ( I will personally go purchase new nitto's for the back and have them put on for you if you buy the car. Or just buy the tires so you can burn these ones off first.)
    - Sub frame connectors were welded in shortly after purchasing the car.
    - Strano 35mm front and 22mm rear hollow sway bars
    - UMI Performance Panhard Bar
    -UMI Performance Lower Control Arms

    Induction

    - LS6 Intake (came stock)
    - True Brian Green Ram Air kit installed and comes with extra gasket.
    - SLP Lid
    - K&N air filter
    - Ported stock throttle body
    - Descreened MAF

    Exhaust

    - Pacesetter ceramic coated long tube headers
    - True Dual 2 1/2 inch pipes to independent flow master one chamber mufflers.
    - Deleted cats

    Engine
Every modification done to the engine has been well thought out and done to work perfectly with eachother. It runs excellent and is extremely fast. It has been recently dyno tuned as well putting out approximately 400rwhp.

    - Stock Heads
    - Hardened Pushrods
    - Patriot Gold Dual Valve Springs w/ Titanium Retainers and new valve stem seals.
    - Futral Motorsports F13 Cam 230/232 585/595 114LSA (excellent sounding lope)
    - LS2 timing Chain
    - ASP Underdrive Pulley
    - Black MSD ignition wires
    - Custom oil catch can
    - Removed emissions components

    Transmission
    Shifts perfectly through all gears.

    - Shift Kit installed
    - B&M transmission oil cooler
    - 3500 Fuddle stall converter
    - SLP Line Lock.(used twice, once to make sure it was hooked up right, and once for fun.) The switch is hidden in a clever spot, so she still looks stock.

Ive had 5 cars all but one has been manual. When I had the auto I kept on shifting it like a manual and screwed up the tranny a lil bit. Only vehicles I can drive that can be auto r trucks. Sorry bro. Im sure it is a very nice car and drives well. Its a beautiful car from what i can see.
