Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Iron heads though. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but an educated buyer might spot it. Itll look cooler though cause the front will sit 1/2" lower
and just in case you were gonna ask, no it would not be worth your time swapping heads

yep, from what i've read the biggest difference is weight, flow the same for the most part and a few other differences that make it a little more torquey to get the boats they put them in moving.
but yes, im not going to swap anything that is not necessary over lol
Make sure it's really a 5.7 and not a 4.3 V8. I had a buddy who put what he thought was a 5.7 in his Jeep till he had to rebuild it and found out it was a 4.3. He bought it from a well known junk yard and they told him it was a 5.7.

4.3's did not come in roadmasters, but i will double check just in case
correct, it will be perfect, under 100K engine owned by an older man i believe
Be careful, you start running that at higher rpms you can take the rings out if the old guy that had it didn't run it hard. The cylinders could have a lip worn in them and running it harder the rods will stretch more and the top ring will hit that lip. Its a crap shoot, just wanted to warn ya.
