  • 96 Supercharged LT1 Firebird for sale.

Original Florida car. Runs-looks excellent. Needs nothing. Dynoed at 385 RWH last year at Detroit Speed-Livonia. Many, many new parts. Brand new SPEC 3 clutch, tune up, new Optispark, all springs, shocks and struts. Has electric water pump, beefed-up Rockland 6-speed trans, sub-frame connectors, Corvette C-5 wheels, (275/40/17 in front and 265/35/18 in the back), with about 50% tread left on them. Car has 162K miles on it but rides like new. Also had a GM crate motor installed at 94K miles. Hate to sell but need $$$ for other project. I'll take more pictures once the weather breaks in the next day or two. Plus I'm in Clinton out past Ann Arbor, not Clinton Township.

Looks like a nice car. How much? Was the motor built to handle the boost?

                  96 Trans Am

The car is $9500. Plus it has headers and a bigger exhaust and some other stuff I need to list about it. The owner 2 owners before me dumped some serious cash into this thing. I'm taking some more pictures today and posting them. Thanks.

I'm not sure if anyone has done anything to the motor. It had a new crate motor a while back and I never did any internal stuff to it.

                      car

Did I miss something here? I though the bigger tires go in back. (Prob. a dumb question..)

                        Car

The tires on the car came with it. Someone must have goofed on that.

They were talking about your aspect ratio on the tires...275 front and 265 rear...even though the fronts are 17's and the rears are 18's.

I bet the motor was replaced with a stock GM unit and it probably went because those LT1s don't take well to boost. What kinda psi are you running and what supercharger kit is it?

It's a Vortech and it's at 7 psi. I posted a new message with the new pictures I took today.
