            Looks, like a very good deal. I usually got to car shows with a guy that has an '81 Z28 but black w/ red striping. Very good looking cars.

                I had this car listed on greatlakes4x4, milan dragway message board and someone on greatlake put it on motown muscle....but i never put it on craigslist...it must be a different one...

                i have only owned this since january 17th...my wife is not happy about me buying this just want my money back out of it, she wants older cars 60s-70s

                  That is pretty damn tempting since I was looking at a 88 Formula with 200K and rust spots for $2200. Could anybody show me some pics of what a really good looking '81 looks like? I have never been a huge fan of that body style but for the price I might change that!

                        I did put it on great lakes 4x4,....
                        i picked this car up in kingsford Mi(west end of the UP)....the previous owner had it on a couple of sites too...
                        it is a nice car but i should not have bought it

                          new valve covers and gaskets
                          new air cleaner and filter
                          new header gaskets
                          new alternator
                          new starter
                          new power window motor
                          oil & filter change

                          car is ready to go!

                            out of curiosity - if the engine is a fresh rebuild why all the new gaskets?

                              motor and trans has less then 5,000 miles on rebuild...which was maybe 2-3 years ago? previous owner cant remember....the engine is really clean, and runs prefect

                              the only reasons i changed gaskets was....

                              one of the bolts came out of one of the headers which caused the header gasket to leak on the drivers side

                              the valve covers were leaking oil down the back of the engine
