He did say it's a base RS and he didn't know anything about the hood being an IROC hood. He said it was the hood that was on it when he bought it.

IROC hood has the fake vents. Standard RS hood is just flat with nothing on it, like what Sean's car had prior to him putting the cowl hood on.

It's got an IROC grill and hood on it. The base RS grill is just plastic bars.

Thats actually a 91/92 Z28 grill. The 85-90 IROC/Z28 grills said CAMARO where that one has the bowtie. That hood was used on the Z28's and IROCS (IROC-Z was a package on the Z28 before it became its own model).

I wasn't sure if it was a later year IROC or Z28 grill so I just said IROC since the bowtie vs Camaro is the only real difference.

no some people just like to go old school and don;t need fuel injection aka me for example. its much easier for someone to quick whipe out a screwdriver if it needs to be changed to run better....

but yes that is an iroc/z28 hood. my car had the rs hood which is smooth all the way back.... i still have mine but will be keeping it just incase plus its got absolutly nothing wrong with it
