  • 1991 Camaro Z-28 Conv. Indy 500 Parade Car 1of 32

    Ran across this while Browsing. Thought some here might be interested. I know I wouldn't mind having it. http://www.oldcartrader.com/ocdetail136917.htm

    Exterior paint finish in White complemented by a Gray fabric interior with Black canvas convertible top.

    This is # 19 of 32 Festival cars used to parade race drivers on to the track the day of the race in the 1990 Indy 500.

    Features include:

    * 5.0 V-8 Tune Port Fuel Injection engine
    * Automatic transmission with overdrive
    * Power steering
    * Factory a/c (blows cold)
    * 4-wheel power disc brakes
    * Power windows & door locks
    * Power driver's seat
    * Tilt steering wheel
    * Am-FM Stereo Cassette electronic tune radio
    * Power antenna
    * Cruise control
    * Power pull down trunk

    Excellent mechanical condition with very low miles. It can be driven as a daily driver. Sold to an individual after the race where it stayed in Indianapolis until 2006. One quality re-paint with the original decals saved and clear coated. The top & interior are all original & the car is 100% factory stock. Own a piece of Indy 500 history. Memorabilia includes hat signed by Danny Sullivan who rode in car & paddock pass from race.

    This generation Camaro is just starting to become collectible. Buy it, drive it, show it, enjoy it & watch the price value climb in the near future.

    Offered @ $13,900

    That's a pretty nice Camaro. The Beretta was the Pace Car that year, but there were other "official" cars used at the race, like this Camaro.

          There was a guy with one of these at Superfest about 3 or 4 years ago. I had never seen one prior to that as I knew the Beretta was the pace car.

                    I wouldn't be too hot on the painted around and cleared over decals though. It probably looks krappy in person.

                          Gas hog? My 305 TPI IROC got 21mpg going to Detroit for the 40th anniversary show. Not bad for a car that's sat more than it's ran in the past 14 years!

                              The pink decal ruins it for me, regardsless of the meaning behind it... it's pink.
