00 Camaro SS up for auction

yea Ty, this is just off of 131 south of GR. I have won things from their auctions before without any issues. Bidding starts on Thursday, and ends Thursday. You can go down there and look at the car ahead of time.

Just wonder how much the bids will get up to, 4k is just the starting bid

Yeah, thats what i thought too, sometimes auctions can be too good to be true until there are 2 ppl that want the car, then the price goes way up!!

my guess is 5500 but it could be nice and at 5500 it would be worth it.

well talked to my dad tonight, and showed him the pics, and he told me just to go look at it tommorow, what could it hurt....then he made a comment about not having a summer projects yet....

It only sucks cause i would need to know by thursday if it was a good idea or not....if not, there are many fish in the sea.

Anyone got anything i should look at extra careful, ill be taking a lot of pictures too, but any help of what to take and ask about would be nice too!!!

i wish it was t-tops, cause ive always wanted them, oh well beggers cant be choosers (or beggers get a skillsaw and a hammer)

there's a 2000 z28 t-tops charcoal leather, 41000 miles on it, automatic transmission, ground effects package, monsoon sound system, all for 4900, needs to have a new radiator support welded in, and probabally a new outer fender support. Other than that, it's in good mechanical shape, motor was not hit, just hit front corner, front wheel is fine. If interested look into auto-rv.com, it's on there under parts and repairables.

What do you guys think that the car is worth, i looked at Kbb and in excellent cond, its about 12.5 and on autotrader, the cars that are alike are selling for 12-15......does this sound about right

Im not sure if i am for sure, but if i do, ill go on my way to school - class starts at 3:15, so ill prolly go around 1-1:30 so i have enough time..

i was planning on calling tommoeow morning, but do you need to register to look at all the stuff, or can any joe off the street walk in and look at it, cause there is some other stuff i wouldnt mind looking at too......

they have it all outside, you can just pull in, tell the guard at the gate you are there to look at a vehicle in the upcoming auction and you will be good to go. You could make an account quick on there as well just in case, but I haven't had any problems in the past.

well im going to sleep on it, and see if i will have time tommorw, i have 2 exams, so it might just be the worst week ever for this, but travis, do you want me to call you if i go??

plus, my sister took the digital camera, so i dont think i will be taking pics of it either.....

Im still up in the air whether its even THAT good of a deal, just cause on LS1tech, there are quite a few ss's that are selling for about 10-12 that are really nice and have some basic mods already. I do like that its stock, then i can do it how i want it too.....i guess i need to sleep on it...haha

If you are going right to your class afterwards don't worry about calling me, just check the SS out and maybe take a quick look at the 97 firebird there and see what it looks like.

Just got to class, and instead of paying attention to my prof, im on here posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took some pics with my camera phone to show my dad...but its pretty rough and would need a lot of parts.

Im going to make a parts list for what it needs, and see what the price for that is, and see if its worth it. If i can buy a non-wrecked one for close to the price im going to do that, and i wasnt planning on buying one this year anyways.

Travis, didnt see the bird there, but didnt look too hard cause it was drizzling, but there is some sweet stuff there!!
