Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I ran across this on ebay. What a sweet car. One of 57 02 Brickyards and one of 2 Berger/GMMG Phase II cars! Quite a buy considering the sticker was nearly $52k!

I took delivery of this car at Bowling Green on 9/20/02.
I drove it home, 2 days later #27 car became available
Kyle Petty and traded #56 for the Petty car.
After Berger did the modification to it, Dennis Barker took me for a ride
at the 2003 Camaro Superfest. It was 6:30 AM and he was running
at a very high rate of speed. We got pulled over by the police, and we told him we were with the show. He let us go but told us we weren't setting
a very good example. That was fun.

Cool Story GIB! I remember Dennis telling me about pulling him over that morning.
Was #56 used for any driver? I saw the Johnny Benson Brickyard listed for sale a few weeks ago. I believe it's over in Grand Haven or Holland.

There was a guy at Superfest last year from Washington DC that drove over to Grand Haven to look at the Johnny Benson Brickyard car, and said it was junk. Very low miles, but has been stored in an underground garage and has mold and mildew growing all over it, even inside! If I remember the details correctly, the "Einstein" that owns the car, also removed the "Johnny Benson" name from the hood, because he didn't think it looked good! That car will just rot away in that hole in the ground. Oh ya, I think he was asking something like $35-38,000 for it, too!
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered
