Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I don't know how I missed this thing going so cheap, but wow $10K?!?!?.....Sure it had the engine replaced, and has a few miles, but in 15-20yrs a car like this will steal the show at Barrett-Jackson!! In the meantime it'd be fun to drive and own!!
Very Cool
And at least the owners resisted removing the SOTL and putting a catback on the car.

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
"For you who believe all you read, I caution you - you are daily being brainwashed for profit by extremely effective psychology with very little regard to factual accuracy. In short, you're at the mercy of the world's greatest bullshit artists with the morals of a stray tomcat." - Smokey Yunick
I've been watching the 1LE cars for the last few years as some of them begin to approach the magic 25 year old age, and they really don't seem to bring the premium that I thought they would.
Is it that just nobody knows what they are? Or are they just not as desirable as we think they are?

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
I think a little bit of three things. The car is still new to be really desirable except to true FBody enthusiasts (I mean who else would want a modern car with absolutely no modern amenities? [no power windows, AC, etc])... but I think the whole 1LE thing is just not that known either.

The entire intent of the 1LE package was to go road racing (SCCA Showroom Stock and A-sedan to be specific), which is why so few of them were made, and why even fewer are in factory "unmolested" form. It may not have come with power windows/locks (you still got A/C some years), but it came with upgraded brakes, suspension, driveshaft, and a few other bits that can be year-specific.

Yeah, I know what the 1LE package is meant to be but how many people own a 1LE for that reason.
I'm going with people don't know what they are or that they even exist. And fewer realize that it wasn't just a Camaro option.
Yeah, the Pontiac 1LEs are scarce...
