Up to $1300.. Was looking for 1350, so will be happy if that's where it stalls.. Be a good chunk towards my new rearend, but told my wife I would give her 1/2 towards her granite counter tops.. Why am I so nice...

Looks like the auction is going pretty well, Larry. You're getting some strange questions, though.

Just a note: Gibson serial numbers can be read like this: The first, and fifth digits are the year, second, third and fourth digits are the day of the year, and the last numbers are the number that got serialized that day. So, if I can read your serial number correctly from your auction photo, the guitar was built (or actually number stamped) on the 302nd day of 2003 and was the 377th (?) guitar stamped that day. (03023377)

So, that would make sense that you bought it in 2004, since it was built in the later part of 2003. The guitar would have had to be finished, and then shipped to the Musicians Friends facility, and sit there until you bought it. I'm sorry you have to sell, it's a very nice LP.

Yep, that's pretty much what I came up with when I broke it down.. Yeah, the questions have been wierd.. Oh well, it's at the price I was looking to get, I doubt it will move any until the last couple hours.. $1500 would make me very happy. On a side note, I am not selling my amp or other electric so I can still dink around a little..

Well, happy with the price I got for the guitar and very happy it went to someone who will use it and take care of it. The buyer runs a recording studio, is a studio drummer and a session guitarist. He has a climate controlled room to store his guitars and plays them all, currently over 20.
