Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
So what do you think, is this the start of 4th gen parts starting to soar in price?
saw that yesterday, and yes absolutely. Im already wishing i had hung onto some parts. I just saw today some old ZR1 wheels like i used to have going for $500. I sold a set of those with tires for 350...
doubt it, I haven't had any issues getting parts from the dealer yet. Maybe on select few rare items but then again their prices were always high
The dealer required parts are almost played out...they only have to keep them in stock for 7 years (to 2009)...so, yes, they will be getting scarce...but that is also true for 4th gen Camaros, not just Firebirds...
Stockpile them if you can, my friends...

WHY THE F*CK IS THERE A GOAT ON A FERRARI?

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
those airboxes have always been a rare item and very expensive, I looked into one to change my car over to a functional ram air hood a few years back was still expensive then. bottom line is how many ws6 lt1 TAs do you see around....there were few made and less that exist today.
Bare in mind that the auction also includes the MAF and ALL parts to install. Considering ive seen a camaro SS airbox, just the box, go for 100 quickly, i dont think its bad. Eric L

Interested in a 3-piece spoiler from a '99 RS? It's got some damage, but could be repaired by someone who knows how to fiberglass. . . I think I only paid like $50 for it.
meh I dont know much about fiberglassing. But I already have a spoiler for Yoshi (freedom design). Just need another stock spoiler. This damn car is a mutt.

actually i can think of two parts right off the top of my head that GM has discontinued. The LT4 knock module, and the non-traction-control throttle cable. Both parts many LT1 guys want/need.
That air box is an okay price. I think the original owner of mine (Who was a family friend) said when he bought it brand new it was $500ish? I don't remember though, been a long while.

I have an entire hatch with z28 spoiler you can have for free.

Angie's dealership just ordered a non-traction control throttle cable for me when I was doing the LT1 project. Didn't have any problems finding them in stock.
