  • Jeff was right, 80K!!!

Well Jeff (81DaytonaPaceCar) has said it several times about the cost of these TA recreations....."80K +". It appears he wasn't wrong.

    jeff knows his stuff.

Im not feelin it though. The front end looks good, really good. but the rest of it cant seem to decide if its 1st gen, 2nd gen, or 5th gen

I'd take the 80k and buy a real Super Duty TA...money better spent IMO.

But Joel I do agree with you, the front end looks good.

lol I was about to say thos wheels look aweful as well as the back end! I like the front half though. The back end has too many eras going on IMO.

front end is ok, hood looks cool, rear end is ugly, interior is nothing new. Lingenfelter is still the only one that get my seal of approval, I bet it is much more than 80k though.

I agree. I can't comment on the fit and finish of the other kits but the quality of the LTA are better than factory.

Depends.... the TA with the 455, custom interior, and many upgrades will be much more expensive.
They haven't released pricing for the firebird/base TA but they had an estimate of 70-80.

I like the style of the car. I think its about the best way to turn a 5th gen into a trans am properly, but the 80 grand price tag seems steep. Eric L

                        graphic!
I don't think it is that outragous which included a highly optioned Camaro. They are well thought out, HIGH quality kit, with lots of low production parts.

Diggin' the wheels...but that rear end...gah...I just threw up a little in my mouth.

And I can't help but notice that the shaker scoop is missing the drip tray and drainage tube...so if this thing ever gets driven in the rain (or washed for that matter), all that water just pools up around the shaker (if they have a gasket to the hood) or just runs all over your engine.

The whole thing just smells half-assed...

It's not too bad - but no way would I pay $80k for a Firebird wannabe.
