Red leather is quite the rare option...regardless of trim level.

If you go to sell that in 10 years, you'd want it red again...

Any Trim level? So my 1992 25th Anniversary with the ALL red interior (cloth) would be some what rare?

no shit. i might just keep it all red then. just order all new pieces or get them all recovered. cause the carpet is just about the only thing that isnt red leather. i know another 87 i believe that has red interior but grey cloth seats

mhm Good thing I didnt sell those Red seats then, I might have to look into getting the original seats re-done then. Where would I begin to look for these numbers like how many came with red interior and cloth stuff like that?

It's the red seats that are unusual...I'm don't think the red material/pattern is made anymore...for leather or cloth...

I've spent the last 30 minutes or so poking around and am striking out...but just from the brief scrounging I've done, red leather is certainly rare...but I haven't found another third gen red cloth car yet...still TBD...

IROC-Zs were pretty rare for 1990. One thing some people may not know. GM's licensing agreement with Penske for the use of the IROC (International Race of Champions) name ran out at the end of 1990, so they couldn't make any more IROC-Zs after December to avoid paying Penske more royalties. That's why the Z28 name returned as the top model for 1991.
                      At the BEGINNING of 1990.

They stoped making them for the 1990 year model after December 1989.

                      its a 5.7 car. You couldn't get a 350 with the t5. Only 305's where available with a t5. Same goes for the 1le's.

Matching the color and grain is easy...matching the cut-set for the seat, not so much...yes, it can be done, but you're into custom interior pricing now...

I'm glad you did. I always try to as accurate as I can. I knew what was correct and what I was trying to say, just didn't say it right, as I went through the scenario in my (old) head.

Thanks for setting the record straight. That 1LE would sure be a nice car to own.
