Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
"Street Stalker package serial #1 that makes over 550hp. That is 120 more hp than GM gave it."
Wonder if they pulled the motor and dyno'd it to prove that...
Glad they list "shop supplies" as one of the expenses...
I sense yet another leech in the market...

WHY THE F*CK IS THERE A GOAT ON A FERRARI?

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Well, at least it sounds good. Oh, and the engine bay looks 1000x's better without that cheap-ass plastic cover.
- Most engine bays do. It's purely an NVH function. It's amazing how much that ugly ass thing can do, though.
What's funny, is some top covers definitely don't help...we had one at work that, with the top cover installed, was quieter up top, but on the sides was louder, than with the top cover off.
Before I left for this term (and I won't be returning cause of my getting laid off), we were doing top-cover studies on our development engine, and some of the prototypes were pretty good...others, not so much - and one, in particular was ugly as hell...and huge.
When Fred got his, and the first night Brian was out and saw it, we pulled off the top cover, and there was a considerable layer of foam on the underside of the top cover. The hood and firewall also have sound-absorbent treatment, which is more of the norm for the industry nowadays. Want an easy weight drop (maybe 10 pounds, so not a big one)? Get rid of that shit.
Looks like a nice big resonator on the air intake, as well.
