  • WOW, 70 RS/SS 396, hugger Orange FS

I want this project so bad! I have not looked at it even though its about 1/2 hours drive from me! I have my 73 TA project so there is no way I could take on both but WOW, I hope it goes to a good home and gets the restoration it deserves! Someone here needs to scoop this up!!

    They didn't make a 375 hp 396 in 1971...all hp ratings were changed to net...best you could get was a LS3 300 hp in a 396, not a L78.

And the L78-375 hp motor wasn't available with an auto trans even in 1970.

Sooo...take to eBay and get hammered...lol...

Wait, I'm assuming it was repainted at some point in it's life? Cause those pictures definitely show a blue car...

This is a 1970, they did make a 396 with a/t but with the L34 (350hp) I think he has his info wrong. But still a neat car, I would like to know what the suffix on the block are.

MP81, I can only assume it was repainted as well, I think that is why he posted the picture of the rear package tray, it seems to show an orange color.

                flagged for removal...of course.

It looked more like a 1 grand car to me, certainly not a 10 grand car.
