I judged that car myself this year at CSF. . . It is gorgeous! It was one of 2 cars that I still remember perfectly, the other was a COPO clone. If I could afford it, it would be mine. I looked over every square inch of that car. It is worth every bit of the Buy it Now price. Somebody is going to be VERY happy with that car. . .

I'd have to drive the out of it to justify spending that kind of money if I had it. Nice car.

I talked to the owner at CSF, he claims he drives it all the time. Said he spent the entire day before cleaning it up from road dust and dirt (and probably burnt rubber.)

Well, I only put about 2000 miles a year on my car and I drive it from April to September. Most cars that look like that are trailered everywhere, at least this guy drives it to shows.

I'm of the opinion that a car that is never driven belongs in a museum somewhere. They are meant to be driven, and if they sit for long periods of time, they become project cars. Bushings begin to dry-rot, wires get eaten by mice, tires develop flat spots, etc.

That said, this car is driven, the guy drove it to the show and had it judged on Sunday. He spent most of Saturday morning cleaning it. The undercarriage of this car is more flawless than the exterior of most cars. All of the little custom details are amazingly done. The car is truly gorgeous.

Uh...I would have to be able to live in it to justify that kind of stupid money!
