negative, look above the actual tire, not on the outer quarter panel.Originally posted by ICEPICK View Postthats not rust its chiped paint witch leads me to believe that car was redon with a diffrent rear bumper cover witch if you check is plastic so it cant rust.
my bad just came back from looking at the pics a little better. yea that is rust but good lord did you see them seats. my wifes ta sat in a storage shed for 15 years and didnt look like that.

but i have seen a white firebird 4th gen in flatrock mi rusted so bad it was rediculas..
thats a serious shame. If he had a reasonable price on it, it wouldnt be a bad car to buy and just throw in storage someday. cars like that you can make money on even in basket case form when someone wants to restore one.
you also can tell it wasnt an LT4 based on the automatic, but i dont know how rare the hardtops were either.Last edited by JoeliusZ28; December 9th, 2007, 10:15 AM.-Joel

well if you see all cars as being disposable anyway then now i know why you dont care about cheap body panels and door dings.Originally posted by DanO View Postmeh.. its a car, people!...
I take care of nice cars to keep them looking nice.. but my daily driver will likely look worse than that... i know my cavalier was far worse than that..

If you're an automotive engineer, you'll appreciate the limited production vehicles as being an "act of passion" that is allowed to be built by the OEM management gods.Originally posted by DanO View Postmeh.. its a car, people!...

It doesn't happen often.
On the plus side, nothing we see here can't be fixed...especially the interior...simple elbow grease will bring that back...
It's what we don't see that concerns me...Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! AN ENGINE THAT SHAKES MY INTERNAL ORGANS LIKE THEY GOT PARKINSON'S! It annoys me more then anything.

There are some Cavaliers that are worth more than you would think. Take the 4 Right hand Drive Toyota Cavaliers sold in the USA, extremely rare and valuable though most see it as a 'normal' car. There are 'rare' versions of every car that at the time, people see as just another car.Originally posted by GETGONE View PostIt's one thing when it's a "normal" vehicle that's nothing special. You'd think being a limited production special edition that people would have a little more pride and try to take care of it.
If everyone let V6 cars rust out, what would that do to the semi clean V6 cars like mine? Hopefully they will be worth something, seeing how there are so very few left, after only 15 years.
You guys have to remember, if you drove BMW's and Aston Martin's all day, a white Camaro with some red stripes probably wouldn't mean much to you either. That cars true history may never be known.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed
