Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Poor 30th anniversary SS! This guy is in MI too. Somebody should go smack him around for letting a nice car like this wind up in this shape. I've NEVER seen an Fbody with rust like that in the inner wheel well. If only I had the money to save it! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...spagenameZWDVW

What's really sad is that it's not even the original motor. With the stripes on the hard top, if I remember correctly -- didn't 30ths with stripes on the top have the LT4 block or something like that which is really desirable?
They made 106 LT4 powered '97 Camaro SSs (6 were for Canada, and the other 100 were 30th Anniversary Editions sold in the US), 29 '97 Pontiac Firehawks with LT4s, and 6359 '96 Corvette Grand Sports (All had LT4s).
Roof Stripes were standard.

Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
You couldn't pay me to take that car. It would take whatever I made off the deal just to get it back to somewhat reasonable condition. I don't even want to think about what the mechanical maintenance (or lack thereof) is like on a car with that kind of cosmetic damage and negligence.
edit: I didn't even notice the starting bid... I got my '98 for $300 more than that...

Reason: i was wrong.
All 106 LT4 SS' were hard tops. You could still get a regular SS in hard top. I'd have to look up the production numbers to see how rare it is.
