    I like this one!! 69 COPO 427 ZL-1 "Recreation"

    I saw this one on E-bay. I think this would be a fun car to have, not to mention a real head turner.

    It's listed again??? It was bid up to something like 80K+ and still didn't meet reserve. There is a burgandy ZL1 recreation on Ebay as well..or was when I saw this one out there. Nice car but I'd never pay that much for it!

            i dont see how thats a "recreation" if its an original body car with different number, but original 427. IMO thats as real as it gets short of being numbers matching.

              Nope, not a fake.

              It's a real COPO car and should have the iron block 427, but they've put the aluminum block in it instead.

              I'll take a guess the reserve is around $150K.

                Guess I could have read the entire Ebay write up instead of merely looking at the pictures! Everytime I see "recreation" or "tribute" I assume it's a fake.

                    Yeah, I think they should of either put a factory tach in the dash, or an aftermarket vintage correct tach from that era in the car.

                      If he were smart, he would take it to barret jackson, pay their crazy fee's and sell if for what its actually worth.

                      Nice car, but I would feel werid driving it with all the other crap out there.
