Thanks everyone and Tom I know you were with us today because my car actually hooked in the driveway of the funeral home doing the burnout - good one buddy, I love you and will miss you but will never forget you, RIP Tom.

Angie and I will be leaving shortly in Red Alert. Hope to see a huge MiFBody turnout so we can have a really long procession of FBodies to send Tom off to his final resting place. RIP Tom... Going to be a tough one today.

I sit here and read all the fond memories everyone haas of Tom, While Ive only been a member for a short time and didnt know Tom personally, I remember seeing his screen name for the first time and thinking "wow, it takes a real pair to admit ones car is slow" then I started seeing alot of his posts more and more and thinking "wow, this guy is salt of the earth and must be a blast to be around" He was obviously loved by all. and its always sad to see some one so young leave this earth. It makes me think about my own life and where i am at. "what would everyone say about me?" would I be as missed as the next guy? I can tell you this, Tom is going to be missed, that is apparent. and my heart and prayers go out to all of you who knew him, loved him. for even though ive not been a member for long, I still consider myself compassionate. and i hate to see anyones heart ache. and it really opens my eyes to the fact that i made the right decision to join this site. you are all a great extended family and makes me wish i lived on the east side of the state.

I guess i've been living under a rock, I had no idea that asthma was deadly. I thought it was more of an annoyance than anything else. Sorry to hear yours is bad too Best of luck. And a second round of condolences to Tom's family and friends.Originally posted by 2002Z4CSS View PostPrayers to his family. I too have asthma and almost died 3 times now. I was really working hard to have my Firebird running again by tomorrow so I could get the new tires mounted and make it to the funeral. Things just didn't work out the way I hoped. . .Originally posted by bri2203 View PostWell Done MIFbody!
Please pass on our condolences to Tom's family. Tom and Mike have been in my thoughts all week, I just can't believe they are gone. I didn't know them very well, just from shows, nights at Woodward, and PM's back and forth, but I did consider them friends. You get so used to seeing the same faces at all these events over the years, and it hits hard when you realize they won't be at the next one. . .
Theres a reason I love this site so much, and I know for a fact that Tom shared my sentiments. We've talked about it in the past, and he really did love the folks here.Last edited by 93formulalt1; August 12th, 2012, 10:29 PM.
