  • moving down to Georgia

Well guys I really wanted to attend the meet n greet and many woodward cruises, but school is my number one priority. My dad made me a deal that if I came down and lived with him over the summer he would pay for a 14 week welding course for me. http://www.newcit.com/ Wezeles and I almost got my car running good again, but I'm still unsure what its future is. For now its going to sit in my moms garage with a cover on it, but I'm thinking its going to be sold because theres no way I can keep it anywhere outside of my parents garages while I'm going to school. My leave date is tomorrow morning and I'm driving my t bird down there. I may return in the fall and get an appartment in ann arbor, that is if i get some courses lined up at washtenaw community college.
Brian and Angie - great job on the site, you guys have really made this an awesome club and website. I plan on staying on the site because you guys are fun and crazy and this place feels like a home to me.
Anyways I will keep in touch, and guys, keep your F Bodies clean for me

Well, if that's what you want to do then you need to definitely take advantage of that. Good luck, drive safe. Careful you don't accidentally run into a Waffle House, they're everywhere down there, lol.

Honestly really sad to hear you're moving away, have always been fun talking to ya out on Woodward -- was even just looking at pictures I had of your car last night too! Thanks for the compliments on the site. And definitely -- best of luck and 100% understand how school comes first. I'm still struggling to complete my schooling and get a bachelors degree. Been at OU since fall 2004 and I estimate that I have atleast 6 to 7 more semesters to go before I graduate. Ah well. I take the leisure route and only do 12 credits a semester.

In any case, bro, good luck and have fun! And like OT said about the Waffle House, HIT THAT RESTARAUNT UP! Man that's my favorite part about the south, Waffle Houses own.

well i started my welding class today, alot of safety issues and practices were gone over today. also took a really easy test after watching a couple movies and reading the hand book on welding. tomorrow i get to use the oxy-acetylene cutting torch all day then i start stick welding monday! we'll see how much i like this trade and where i can apply it in my future.
i've also seen a few 2nd gen firebirds(i believe anyways, the one that looks like a bandit or whatnot) down here, didnt really stop and look at prices but they looked in decent shape. attractive cars.
                    take it easy guys.
