Just wanted to explain what's going on.
I had posted a thread on SLP about the Meet 'n' Greet awhile ago. It was deleted and I was told that I was unwelcome to post non-SLP events on their website. It was OK for me to do the first two years, but apparently because of the grudge that certain people over there hold against me, it's not OK this year. I was told that I am not allowed to post events on SLP without first going through Dave. My bad, that's fine and I do understand that... if I'm not welcome to post the event on the site anymore, that's OK with me. I was just trying to invite them out to enjoy the Meet 'n' Greet.
There was another thread talking about going out and cruising, and Craig mentioned that everyone was out at Woodward already. Someone posted stating that the people at Woodward was "not SLP" and "a different group." I came on to tell them that anyone is welcome, not just MiFbody members. That it's not mifbody, not semb, not certain groups, it's a bunch of friends hanging out on Woodward because it's become a tradition to come out on Friday and Saturday and hang out with all our friends at Auto Euro. The post was deleted. I was simply trying to invite SLP out to Woodward to show that EVERYONE is welcome out there, to stop the segregation.
Today, there was a thread that had mentioned people's posts getting deleted, and Karl (Krzy_Karl) said that no ones threads and posts get deleted. So, I spoke up and mentioned that my posts were deleted and explained the circumstances of each post. I wasn't trying to stir the pot, but I'm also not going to let someone say that posts aren't deleted when all of my recent posts have been.
I realized that by defending myself, a few immature individuals over there thought I was stirring the pot and trying to start something. After seeing his response, I deleted my posts to try and revert/stop "stirring the pot" and figure whatever let them walk all over me and make me look like the bad guy, I don't care. Well, I come back on and find that someone had undeleted my posts to keep "stirring" the pot.
Then when Angie and I are laying in bed, I get a call from Ben that someone registered on MiFbody with a derogatory username directed at me, and posted an Introduction thread making fun of me, and my car, and even went so far as to copy one of my old sigs and put the damaged pictures of my car in the sig. So, I banned him.
Funny thing, though. IP addresses are a great thing. If you want to be impressed (or atleast I think it's impressive) if you go to http://www.WhatsMyIpAddress.com it will narrow down your location to a few miles using your IP address -- it says mine is at 21 and Romeo Plank. So I search the IP address that the person registered with and it resolves to Warren, MI. Hmm, must be someone local from SLP. So I pull up a search of the IP address by users, and sure enough -- Krzy_Karl and leet_hax both match this IP address. Go figure. Karl the one giving me all the animosity on SLP's site, and Rob the webmaster for SLP now.
While I was researching what was going on, Karl or Rob re-registered with another derogatory user name making fun of the fact that I live in my parents basement, and making fun of my car still.
I honestly couldn't care less, and find it somewhat amusing that he's going to this length to try and make fun of me. Apparently he doesn't realize how horribly this reflects himself and his club, or apparently he just doesn't realize how easy it is to track everything down on the internet.
So yes, that's why there's two usernames now "SomeoneJealousofMeissen" and what not.
And thanks to Ben for calling me and alerting me of what was going on.
