• Announcement! 10 years ago today...

It's amazing how much can happen in only 10 years. I know many have heard this story numerous times, but 10 years ago today I was sitting in my parents' basement noticing there were "Wisconsin FBody Associations" and "North East FBody Association" and "Arizona FBody Association" but not one unified FBody website for Michigan. Instead, we were left to chat in the Great Lakes forums on the various websites like CamaroZ28 and LS1Tech. After creating websites on GeoCities and graduating to having my own personal domain (Meissenation.com) which my classmates and I used in HS to play arcade games during computer class, on a whim I created a PHP-Nuke website named "Michigan FBody" and watched in amazement as the registrations flooded in.

10 years later and a lot has changed. Although people come and go, the friendships built really do last. I know I always get sentimental on everyone, but I really do consider everyone here my extended family -- even if we argue, bicker, or troll eachother's threads. At the end of the day, we're all here for the same purpose - we love Camaros and Firebirds and want somewhere to call "home" to chat with others in our area. Well, maybe that's not everyone's reason for being here, but at least I hope the latter is true -- having some place to call home where you can come on here and catch up with friends, hang out on Woodward or 28th Street or wherever and make new friends in the process.

10 years ago today I was an immature little punk living in his parents' basement - today I'm an immature fatass married to a beautiful and loving wife and raising a child of our own. 10 years ago, Red Alert was just coming together - it wasn't until August 2005 that all the pieces came together and she received the paint job she wears today. A 3.4L v6 ricer, now a 357ci LT1 ricer. Seriously though... a lot has changed, but this website still remains here as a place to call home.

Admittedly I'm behind and need to get to J's Silkscreen to get this all setup, but to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of our humble abode here, I had C2YT design a 10th anniversary T-Shirt honoring Michigan FBody. I really think it turned out bad ass and can't wait to get shirts printed. I need to talk to J's to see what they say about colors for the shirt -- since it's only going to be run for this year alone, I might stick to only a few colors. We'll see what the pros say when I take the design to them

To everyone here on the site, my extended family, thank you for making Michigan FBody "home" for myself and others. I always say it, anyone can make a website and hope for members, but it's you guys on the site who make this place what it is.

    Happy BDay Michigan FBody!

I've always concidered you my brother from another mother, Brian. You know that. Our taste in our cars is scary similar. I'm thankful for this site. It was my main goto after the fall of ProjectCamaro.com and even though I'm still on the other side of the country from yall, I still feel like part of the family. Only downside is I can't meet up with you guys at the meets. Perhaps one day I will... Happy Birthday MiFbody. Here's to many many more years to come.

Happy Birthday MIFB! And thank you to Brian for creating this space for all of us.

I'd be up for a Woodward get-together, especially if the T/A is on the road by then.

Me and Brian tried to keep the shirt multi generational while also portraying chevy and pontiac. Sorry if you guys don't like the bird, but we had to have some variation.

Here is the mock up I promised, just gives a general idea of the shirt.
