So I wanted to acknowledge some great acts that have happened over the past month or so. When we started the TShirt group purchase, RickT reached out to me and said he wanted to buy Ken (Sniperperformance) a hoodie or a tshirt. I thought it was a good idea, so RickT paid for a hoodie and I decided to chip in and buy a tshirt for Ken so he'd have one of each. It just so happened that Ken spoke up in the thread a little while later saying he was interested in getting some shirts and hoodies but he wouldn't have the $$ in time, so I was able to use that as my ploy to find out what size he needed and I told him we'd just true up later. Between RickT and myself, we covered the items that Ken wanted. So for that - huge thank you to RickT for the generous idea.
Fast forward a little while and Dave has a third gen manual he wanted to sell and he opts to donate the proceeds to MiFBody. I had no prior knowledge that he was planning this and it just goes to show what a nice guy Dave is! The "auction" just ended at $55 and Darren donated the money to my account to pay for the manual.
Today I'm shipping the shirts, so thanks to Dave and Darren, I didn't have to worry about coming up with the money to ship Ken his TShirt order.
Just thought it was cool how everything all tied together - a whole bunch of kind acts that are greatly appreciated.
